The Bachelor of Arts degree in Music provides a firm foundation in music and the liberal arts. This is accomplished through applied lessons (one-on-one training with professors), participation in major ensembles (band, choir, jazz band, or orchestra), and an array of music history and theory classes.
The uniqueness in this degree, however, is found in the number of electives it holds. The electives make this degree a perfect option for a person interested in double majoring in music and another discipline.
There is one Bachelor of Arts (BA) available with this major.
The BA in Music prepares you to enter graduate school in many disciplines in music. It also provides a well-rounded education that prepares you to go into the workforce in areas other than music as well.
