As a healthcare marketing major, you will take a number of courses in biology, chemistry and in health policy, along with marketing courses with a focus on issues facing companies doing business in the healthcare industry.
In addition to your freshman and sophomore courses, you will take two courses in biology, two in chemistry and two more in either nursing or health sciences.
In the College of Business, healthcare marketing majors take courses specific to marketing in healthcare and classes on laws and ethics for the industry. You will learn about the jobs in the field and how to talk to doctors and hospital professionals, as well as real-life interactions with industry professionals.
Study abroad programs led by USM business faculty are established for Japan/South Korea and as part of the British Studies Program. Ask us about opportunities to learn in other countries.
There is one Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) degree available with this major.
