Courses provide a basic understanding of the construction enterprise, history of the built environment, business management, law, technology, engineering, soft skills involving human resource management and project and human safety.
There is one Bachelor of Science (BS) degree available with this major.
Our construction engineering technology program graduates are currently working as project managers, estimators, field engineers, contractors, safety and loss control managers.

All courses listed in the degree plan are available online. A student would not have to take a face-to-face course to complete this degree.
50 percent or more of the degree plan’s courses in Major Area of Study Requirements AND 50 percent or more of courses in Curriculum Requirement are available online. Remaining courses are face-to-face at the Hattiesburg or Gulf Park campus, as noted.
